Journals for Confirmands & High School Graduates are available during coffee hours for the congregation to write a word of congratulations, encouragement or inspiration for these young people at this milestone in their life. The journals will be presented to them next Sunday when they are honored.

The Sr. High Youth are enjoying a retreat at Holden Village this weekend… let’s keep them in our prayers for life changing experiences at the retreat and safe travel. 

Intro to Stephen Ministry – Learn about this life-giving caring ministry of our congregation.  We’ll meet during Education Hour in Schmidt Hall today.  A new Stephen Minister training class will be starting soon.  For info contact Pastor Dave.

Ministry Team Meetings & Council Meeting are this Wednesday at 6pm for Teams & 7pm for Council.

Next Sunday is the last day of Sunday School & Adult Bible Study for this year.  Children preschool through 5^th grade should meet in their classrooms and will go to a special program in the sanctuary.  Middle and High Schoolers will meet together for activities and discussion.  All adults will meet in Schmidt Hall to learn more about mission opportunities for our church family.

The Sunday School Offering for God’s Global Barnyard is $1,276.31 as of 5/4.  Our goal is $1,500 for the year – give generously during the Sunday School hour today and next week so we can go over the top!

3^rd-5^th graders come for Story Night with Pastor Dave this Friday, May 16 from 6-7pm. in Schmidt Hall.

Food Items – The Food Bank desperately needs food items to help feed those hungry in our community.  May’s item is Peanut Butter & Jelly. Let’s fill those carts!

LCM’s Spring Clean-up will be this Saturday, May 17. There is much to do inside & out after our long winter season. If you have not signed up on the posted sheets please fill your name in a slot & plan to come help! Thanks!

Ella Hegland’s Estate Sale will be held May 30 & 31 at 3205 Buckskin Rd. in Cd’A. If you can help Ella with preparation or packing up when it’s over to bring items to the church’s garage sale please call the church office at 765-1002.

LCM’s Annual Garage Sale is set for June 13 & 14, Friday & Saturday.  Set aside items to bring Wednesday and Thursday, June 11 & 12.

The Lutheran Magazine comes to every household monthly. There is a special offering envelope in your pack to help offset this cost to the congregation. Please consider a gift of $12 ($1 per month) which is an incredible bargain for this church publication.
