Lutheran Church of the Master's

Mission Statement:

"Sharing the grace and truth of Jesus Christ in caring relationships."

Thus we will:

EXPAND Christ's Kingdom

To give testimony of Christ's suffering, death, and resurrection for the forgiveness of our sins, by the power of the Holy Spirit.

"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations baptizing them in the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit."  Matthew 28:19

EDUCATE & learn about Christ and His Character

To be a pupil of God's Word: to study God's Word and apply the Word to all areas of one's life.

"For everything that was written in the past to teach us, so that through endurance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope."  Romans 15:4

ENCOURAGE, strengthen & enjoy each other in Christ

To join together as a body of believers to encourage each other, pray for each other, build each other up in Christ and share with each other.

"They devoted themselves to the apostles teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer."  Acts 2:42

EXALT & glorify God

To love God with all our hearts, minds and souls, through the confession of sin, prayer, singing, playing instruments, dancing, taking part in the sacrament of Holy Communion, hearing God's word and praising God.

"Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly and as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God.  And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the father through him."  Colossians 3:16-17

EXTEND a helping hands to others

To love your neighbor as yourself and be a servant to others, helping with the physical need of all people.

"For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and your gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me."  Matthew 25:35-36
